It is official, the State Government announced a $3.5 million grant towards the new facilities at Ellis Park that will become the new home of Adelaide Comets Football Club!!

The two-storey community building will be shared with the Western Districts Athletics Club and comprise of club rooms, change rooms, a kitchen, community space, first aid room, gym and public toilets.

The funding follows a $10 million commitment announced in the State Budget to help local football clubs meet growing demand.

Adelaide Comets Football Club wishes to extend a personal thank you to Tom Koutsantonis MP following the July 12th announcement of $3.5 million for the development of the facilities at Ellis Park. Minister Koutsantonis has been an integral part of the process and we can not thank him enough, along with the South Australian Labor Party and the State Government.

The announcement is exceptional for Adelaide Comets FC as well as the South Australian Football Community.
